images from the other, other South Fork

hey everyone

well, Dad had reason to return to the place we once all called home recently and, as he is prone to do, took some pictures. i dare say several (hundred) shall be forwarded to me over the course of the next couple of days, but for now here are some of what he sent!

it was rather a fortunate week for him to land there, as it saw the wedding anniversary of his parents, my Gran and Gramps, and indeed Elizabeth's birthday. on that note, happy anniversary Gran & Gramps, and a very happy birthday indeed to Elizabeth, sorry it is a touch late!

Dad took Gran and Gramps off to cosmopolitain Whitby for some fish and chips for their anniversary, i gather. no doubt pictures of that shall land soon, but in the mean time here are some of Elizabeth's two lovely daughters at the other, other South Fork!

here's Gramps, clearly thrilled to have baby Sophie and her big sister Natalie over to visit!

in the bottom corner, i believe, that's Susan getting ready to "catch" - i guess Sophie is a bit of a jumper, then! although in this next picture it does look a bit like Natalie is getting ready to pounce!

here's a great picture (ahem, yes Dad, all of your pictures are great) of just about everyone!

Susan doesn't seem ready to catch here, i guess Sophie is a bit better behaved with Gran than with Gramps, then!

on that note, here's one of Gran sat with Sophie, who is of course (if i have got all my maths right) the youngest of her 9 (nine!) Great-Grandchildren!

that picture looks a bit different from the others - either there was some awesome light things going on in Ayton, or Dad has rediscovered his love of that filtering business once again!

absolutely wonderful to see some pictures of you all; almost as good as it is to learn you are clearly all healthy and happy!

be excellent to each other!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
