i suppose as an ultra-loyalist defender of the original Mad Max films i should be wary of the new one. i am, however, not. Tom Hardy is one of the most amazing actors going, and there's no way he would have touched the project if he thought it would be poor compared to the originals.
this latest picture seems to suggest he very much looks the part!
class, that. he looks nothing like Mel Gibson, and yet very much like Mad Max. if that makes any sense.
this is the second look at him in character, after this infamous gift picture.
the above is a picture Hardy signed and sent to a fan on request, not being aware of the fact that he was giving the world their first look at him in character. to their credit, Warner Bros said they didn't mind at all, saying they hoped the fans liked what they saw.
